What is the refund policy for USTA Coaching packages?
- USTA Coaching packages are non-refundable. When you complete your purchase, you acknowledge that benefits and digital resources are activated immediately. You can cancel your subscription at any time to prevent auto-renewal for the next year, but you won't receive a refund for the current subscription period. You'll continue to have access to all benefits for the remainder of your paid term.
What is the policy if a USTA Coaching subscriber has passed away?
- In the event of a subscriber's death, a family member can contact USTA and provide applicable documentation. A prorated refund for the remaining term of the subscription will be calculated based on the date on the death certificate and the remaining days on the subscription term.
If something serious happens and I can no longer coach, what happens to my paid subscription? Can someone else use it or can I request for a refund?
- No, USTA Coaching packages are non-refundable.
If my subscription lapses due to an expired Safe Play status, will I be eligible to renew at a discounted rate or must I sign up as a new subscriber?
- If your subscription lapses, your package's start and end date will change to when you purchase the new package. This package will not be discounted because the start and end date will be for a 12 month period.
How do I change my name, date of birth (DOB), or gender?
- To update your name, date of birth, or gender, please provide the following information so we can forward it to the right department:
- Your full name
- Your USTA number
- Your date of birth
- Your email address on file
- Your phone number on file
- Your home address on file
- The reason you are requesting the change
- A copy of a valid photo ID.

- Driver License
- Passport
- ID with name, date of birth, and gender
- Birth Certificate (for those under 18)

How do I change my email address and/or my mailing address?

I'm moving out of the country. What happens to my USTA Coaching subscription? Can I get a refund?
- No, many USTA Coaching benefits are accessible worldwide. Refunds are not permitted.
What payment methods are accepted for USTA Coaching packages?
- USTA Coaching packages can be purchased using multiple payment options through the Stripe checkout system. Accepted payment methods include credit cards, Apple Pay (on Apple devices), Google Pay (on Android/Chrome devices), ACH transfers, and Klarna. Your email address will be pre-filled at checkout with your account information.
What happens if my payment fails due to insufficient funds? Will USTA Coaching retry the payment automatically?
- You will need to manually retry the payment or use another payment method. USTA Coaching will not automatically retry the payment.
Can I turn off my auto-renew for my USTA Coaching Package?
- USTA Coaching packages are set for auto-renewal on an annual basis. Customers can easily toggle auto-renew on and off on the "My Membership" page and will receive a confirmation message for their update. If auto-renew is turned off and the subscription fee is not paid, the package will expire and you will not have access to any package benefits.

What happens to my subscription if I cancel auto-renewal?
- If you cancel your USTA Coaching subscription, you'll maintain access to all your package benefits for the remainder of your current term as long as you remain Safe Play Approved. Cancellation simply turns off the auto-renewal feature, preventing your subscription from automatically renewing at the end of the term. Once your current term ends, your subscription status will change to "Lapsed," and you'll no longer have access to package benefits.

Can multiple people access one USTA Coaching account?
- No, USTA Coaching program can only be accessed by the specific subscriber enrolled.
Can I use two different credit cards for one package?
- No, only one credit card or form of payment can be used for purchase. Please select one of the many payment methods (Credit Card, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Klarna)
How do I request for an invoice for my subscription with my business name and address for tax purposes?
- During your registration, you can enter your Business information. A payment receipt will automatically be emailed to you.
Changes & Upgrades
Can I upgrade my package anytime?

Yes! You can upgrade to a higher package at any time. When you upgrade, we'll calculate a prorated credit for the unused portion of your current package and apply it toward your new package cost.

I accidentally purchased the wrong package. Can I get a refund or change my tier?
- Refunds are not issued for incorrect tier purchases. Our system includes multiple checks during the sign-up process to help ensure you are selecting the correct tier. The responsibility for selecting the right subscription tier lies with the individual user.
What happens to my expiration date when I upgrade?

If you're upgrading from Baseline:
- Your new expiration date will be one year from your upgrade date.

If you're upgrading from a paid package to a higher paid package:
- Your expiration date stays the same.
- You'll receive a prorated credit for the unused time on your current package.
How does prorated credit work?

When you upgrade, we calculate the unused value of your current package and apply it as a credit toward your new package. You'll see a clear breakdown of:
- Your prorated credit amount
- The cost of your new package
- Your final payment amount
What happens to my old subscription when I upgrade?
Your previous subscription will be canceled on the date you upgrade, and its status will change to "Canceled." Your new subscription becomes active immediately.
Why can't I downgrade right away?
The 30-day policy ensures you receive the full value of your current subscription while giving you time to plan for your next package level.
Will I see the costs before confirming my upgrade?
Yes! Before you complete any upgrade, you'll see a detailed breakdown showing your prorated credit, new package cost, and final payment amount.
When can I renew or downgrade my package?
You can renew or downgrade your package starting 30 days before your current package expires. This policy ensures you get the full value of your current package.
