Troubleshooting
Single Sign On Troubleshooting Guide
Error Message: "Session Expired - You have been inactive for too long and your session has been terminated. This can also happen when you log on to another terminal."
What This Means
Your login session has ended for security reasons. This protects your account information when you're away from your computer or when there's unusual activity detected.
Common Causes
Inactivity timeout: The platform automatically logs you out after a period of no activity. This is a security feature to protect your account if you step away from your device.
Multiple logins: Logging into your account on a different device or browser will end your session on the first device. The system only allows one active session at a time per account.
Browser issues: Cleared cookies, cache problems, or browser updates can interrupt your session even if you're actively using the platform.
Network interruption: If your internet connection drops temporarily, your session may not be maintained when the connection returns.
How to Resolve
Simply log back into USTACoaching.com with your username and password and go back to the Online Learning Hub.
Single Sign On Error
Error Message: "Single-Sign-On Error - An attempt to authenticate using Single-Sign-On has failed. Please contact your network administrator to resolve this malfunction. Details: Invalid Id [USTA number]"
What This Means
Despite what the error message suggests, this is not a technical malfunction. This error appears when you're trying to access content that requires an active USTA Coaching package, but your account doesn't currently have access.
Why You're Seeing This
You must have an active USTA Coaching package in order to access the Online Learning Hub. This error means one of the following:
- Your USTA Coaching membership has expired
- You don't currently have a USTA Coaching package associated with your account
How to Resolve
Check your membership status:
- Log into USTACoaching.com
- Navigate to your account dashboard or membership section
- Verify that you have an active coaching package
Purchase or renew your membership: If you don't have an active package, you'll need to purchase or renew your USTA Coaching membership to access the Online Learning Hub content.
Contact support if:
- You recently purchased a membership and believe it should be active
- Your membership shows as active but you're still receiving this error
- You need help understanding which package you need
What NOT to Do
Don't contact your network administrator or IT department - this isn't a technical issue with your network or single-sign-on system. The error message is misleading, but the solution is simply ensuring you have the proper coaching package access.
